| ‘Lake
House’ our Trek Aid fieldwork centre at Pokhara lakeside – for treks
& self-catering holidays in Nepal. UNIQUE SELF-CATERING APARTMENT & FAMILY FACILITIES. There are no other facilities such as this at Pokhara lake – only hotel rooms. ‘Lake House’ is located at the quiet, far end of Lakeside, with spectacular views over Fewa Lake. It is a 12 room home-from-home, occasionally for our aid-work volunteers, with office space at last for our development programmes. The lovely garden goes down to the lake, with canoes owned by local Nepalese friends to rent. There is a mountain bike rental shop 50 yards away, several small ‘corner shops’ just across the street for self-catering provisions and groceries, and also several restaurants nearby. The house includes a front patio for off-road car parking; ground floor with a workshop, trek gear storeroom, sherpa staff room, laundry / housekeepers room; plus a dining room and a large well equipped kitchen, both facing the lake. On the first floor is an apartment facing the lake with a balcony, living room, main bedroom and two bathrooms. There is an office with desk space and also three other double bedrooms with twin beds. It is ideal for a group of 8 to 10 friends, or just a couple, or a big family. Photocopies of a Lake House photo folder are available on request. | ![]() Lake House ![]() The View From Lake house |
